On day 25 postinfection for all TNF−/− mice or on day 28 for different gatherings, 5 creatures were killed; lung, livers, and spleens were reaped; and the quantity of reasonable microorganisms in organ not entirely settled by plating sequential weakenings in copy onto Middlebrook 7H11 (Difco) agar plates containing 10% OADC and hatching at 37°C. Provinces were counted at 3 weeks and results are communicated as log10 CFU per organ. Comparative examinations were performed on day 56 (laid out contamination) with the excess mice.
